I think Fungus might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Freak Like Me-Halestorm. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Dominic Toretto!
The judges for this bout are Jorge Garcia, Eddie Farnsworth and Franklyn Lucas.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fungus fails with an attempt to clinch.
Fungus lands with a nice combination. Toretto backs away looking to recover.
Fungus throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Toretto.
Fungus misses with a jab, cross combination.
Toretto throws a sloppy head kick and Fungus moves out of range easily.
Toretto blocks a head kick by Fungus.
A little jabbing left from Toretto on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.
Toretto throws a half hearted mid kick.
Fungus seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym.
Toretto feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Funguss jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!

Toretto lets it all go there with a big combo counter but none of the punches connected.
Fungus takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
Toretto connects with a right hand. Fungus shakes it off.
Toretto dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
A punch lands to the side of Fungus 's head but he takes it in his stride.

and Toretto cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.

It looks like Toenail Fungus has been cut.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Toretto slips a straight right by Fungus.
And Toretto responds with a good body kick, but Fungus manages to step out the way in time.
Toretto moves away from the strike by Fungus.
Fungus tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Toretto defends well and Fungus ends up having to push Toretto into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.
Toretto looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Fungus throws a leg kick which misses Toretto's front leg but catches the back leg as Toretto tries to avoid it.
Fungus throws a sloppy head kick and Toretto moves out of range easily.
Toretto throws a fast counter high kick but Fungus manages to duck under it in time.
Toretto's coach down at Palace of Pain FC Gym - Primaries & Physicals was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Toretto's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.

Toretto is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Fungus has managed to free his arm - good work.

Toretto is keen to just control but Fungus is a slippery customer.

Fungus closes the distance and clinches up with Toretto, looking for a takedown. Fungus pushes Toretto against the cage but Toretto circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Fungus shoots in looking for a takedown. Toretto tries to sprawl out of it but Fungus keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Toretto manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Toretto has been the more effective fighter overall so far.

Toretto lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Fungus circles away quickly and effectively.

Well Toretto has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Yarygin accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Harrow is breathing heavily.
Yarygin controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.

Yarygin is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
Yarygin is pushing down on Harrow's leg trying to pass to half guard. Harrow is fighting to maintain full guard but Yarygin has managed to sneak the leg through.
Yarygin uses his free foot to push down on Harrow's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Harrow.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Yarygin cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
Yarygin takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
Ilya Yarygin overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

Yarygin seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Harrow for as long as he can get away with.
Harrow really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Yarygin. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

He's hopped off into side control, looking to tighten the submission... is it going to work? He's given up a good position looking for it. Harrow looks OK. Oh, I spoke too soon, he's out! That must have been tighter than I thought! Excellent work there by Yarygin! Submission of the night perhaps?
