The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Nogg has Malmsteen up against the cage in a clinch.

Nogg is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Malmsteen can't fight it off and eventually Nogg manages to take the fight to the floor. Malmsteen looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard.

Malmsteen has butterfly guard. He's looking to stand up here. He pushes Nogg off him and springs to his feet nicely. The crowd applauds.

Malmsteen attempts a low kick but it misses it's target.
Nogg has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Nogg shoots in looking for a takedown but Malmsteen manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Nogg's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
