And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 9 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Jay Silva!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A jab from Olsson misses.
Silva lets it all go there with a big combo counter but none of the punches connected.
Silva changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Olsson tries to avoid it but Silva manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Olsson to the ground. Olsson escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Olsson throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Silva closes the distance and clinches.

Olsson's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Silva tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Olsson manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Olsson tries to counter with a takedown but Silva is quick to defend against it.
Silva throws a right hand that Olsson ducks under and follows up with a left that Olsson also avoids with ease.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Olsson jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Silva walks away with a smile on his face. Olsson gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

Arman Olsson has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jay Silva.

Franklin tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Pala manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
We've been hearing reports that Franklin has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.

Pala drops his hands momentarily. Franklin doesn't need a second invitation, landing a shot to the temple. Pala staggers and falls to the mat and the ref dives in to save him from any more punishment. Pala doesn't seem happy with the stoppage but he was done.

Brush fires a straight punch through the middle that cracks Leftwich square on the jaw! Damn, Leftwich is out cold on his feet and topples face first to the canvas! Wow, I haven't seen a knockout that brutal in a long time!
