HoutKooper changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Diddles tries to avoid it but HoutKooper manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Diddles to the ground. Diddles escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Banchamek moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.
Banchamek throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Suwmiarka stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Suwmiarka shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Banchamek sprawls well. Banchamek wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Suwmiarka gets slowly back to his feet.

We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Suwmiarka has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.

We've been told by Banchamek's head coaches at Canadian Top Team that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
Donk. Banchamek catches Suwmiarka right on the button with a cross.
Banchamek dances in with a quick combination. Suwmiarka is being worked over with jabs and crosses. Oooh, a right straight from Banchamek snaps Suwmiarka's head back. Suwmiarka stumbles backwards against the cage. Banchamek steps forward and delivers a right cross that connects with Suwmiarka's jaw, simultaneously knocking him out and sending his mouthpiece into the crowd! There's a worthy souvenir for the fans. This one is over folks. Suwmiarka just didn't come prepared.
