I think Havic might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to psycho. Johnny Rotten is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mayfield shoots in for a double leg but Balls sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

Mayfield gets a takedown into half guard.
Mayfield trying to control from half guard but Balls is working away.

Mayfield is working for a kimura but Balls is defending it quite comfortably.
Mayfield thows a huge punch but Balls dodges it nicely.
Mayfield trying to mount his opponent but Balls defends it.

Mayfield is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.

Mayfield is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Balls sees it coming and defends easily.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Mayfield is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.
Mayfield looks gassed!
Mayfield thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Balls's head.
Balls wants to get back to full guard.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
A punch lands to the side of Mayfield 's head but he takes it in his stride.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Mayfield drives through with a takedown into guard.
Mayfield pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Balls is keeping the position for now.
Mayfield won't allow Balls to sweep him here.

Mayfield drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Balls dives on top into guard.
Mayfield looking to control.
Balls knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Mayfield on the ground.
Balls forces his way into half guard.
Mayfield is looking for a sweep. Balls is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Balls scores with a couple of good hammerfists.

Balls decides to stand and escape the position.
Mayfield changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Balls tries to avoid it but Mayfield manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Balls to the ground. Balls escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Balls throws out a powerful jab.
Mayfield dives in and grabs Balls's left leg, looking for a takedown. Balls pushes down on Mayfield's head and hops out.
Huge Balls has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Thomas Mayfield.
Balls is looking to land body kicks.
A cross from Balls lands.

It looks like Thomas Mayfield has been cut.
Balls throws a good cross that connects.

Mayfield is rocked!
Balls drops Mayfield with a huge uppercut! Mayfield drops to the floor like a sack of potatoes. Balls is raining down punches and the ref stops the fight! This one is all over!
