The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Rick moves into the clinch.
Rick misses with a short punch on the inside.
Rick throws a punch but it's blocked by Bush.
Bush wants a takedown.
Bush is trying to drag Rick to the mat but Rick just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.
Bush drops down looking for an ankle pick but Rick pulls his leg out and moves away.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for JJ Bush. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Nice uppercut lands for Rick. That snapped Bush's head back.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Rick clinches up against the cage.
Bush has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Rick is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.
Rick is defending well against a takedown attempt.
Rick throws a head punch that misses.

Bush has hold of one of Rick's legs. Rick is fighting the takedown attempt but Bush gets the trip and lands the takedown into guard.
Bush is standing up over Rick. Rick looks to escape but Bush dives into side control.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Bush in side control here. He's dropped a big elbow there and Rick looks hurt! Oh, he is hurt! Bush turns on the heat and pounds him out for a TKO victory! Good killer instinct there!
