The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Ballantine fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Bungradidoa, pushing him back against the cage.

Bungradidoa has Ballantine pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Bungradidoa pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Ballantine tumbling to the mat - Bungradidoa dives into Ballantine's guard.

Schilling has chosen Sweet Caroline-Neil Diamond as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Luana Peroba Filgueiras could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Joe Schilling's chin.

Schilling moves into range and connects with a jab.
Filgueiras gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Schilling counters with a nice kick to the body.
Luana Peroba Filgueiras seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Filgueiras enables Schilling to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Filgueiras manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
Filgueiras keeping moving, preventing Schilling from controlling successfully.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Schilling drops back looking for a submission - "I'm sorry sir, but I'm gunna break your leg" says Schilling as he cranks on the unfortunate limb! Filgueiras screams and taps out before any major damage is done! Don't mess with Schilling! Nice submission victory there!

Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Lamont Hawkins (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Petter Anier (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hawkins comes to the cage accompanied by Wu-Tang Clan - C.R.E.A.M. On his way into the cage it seems that Lamont Hawkins has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Lamont Hawkins seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?
