Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nightmare circles away from the clinch attempt.
Noble tries to clinch up.
Noble misses with a double jab.
Noble wants to clinch up but Nightmare keeps it at a distance.
The fight stays on the outside here - Noble looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Nightmare shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Noble manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
Noble manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!

Noble goes for an armbar but Nightmare turns quickly into his guard - lovely anticipation from Nightmare.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Noble is trying to drag Nightmare to the mat but Nightmare just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.

Nightmare tries to score a body lock takedown but Noble shows good agility there to stay on his feet.

Nightmare drops down looking for an ankle pick but Noble pulls his leg out and moves away.

Nightmare remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while.

Howser throws a series of punches but Druida moves out of range.
Druida tries to close the distance and clinch but Howser swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Howser misses with a head kick.
Nice straight punches there by Howser. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Howser.

Howser drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet.
Howser's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.

Howser sends Druida crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Howser is motioning to the referee to let Druida up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!

It looks like New Druida has been cut.
Howser lands with a right and another and another! Druida is in big trouble! Howser lands again and this time it's lights out for Druida! A quality knockout there for Howser.

Garcia lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
