The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Templeton stuffs the takedown attempt from Radic. Radic gets slowly back to his feet.

Radic drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
Templeton is looking for a sweep.
Templeton wants to control but Radic postures up.
Templeton regains half guard, as Radic was trying to land strikes.
Ground and pound from Radic.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Radic looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.

Radic seems to be looking for submissions.
Radic takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.

Templeton has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Radic is working away from the top position though.
Templeton is in a bad position, trying to hold on for dear life but he is really struggling to maintain any sort of control.
My spies in The Million Dollar Performance Center inform me that Radic has been getting involved in the gym's BJJ sparring sessions. Let's see whether that pays dividends!
Radic wants to take a breather but Templeton is having none of it.

Templeton stalks Radic and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Radic's face. Radic staggers backwards, shaken.

It looks like Mirko Radic has been cut.

That was a close second round but I would say that Luke Jones will probably get the nod.

The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Trott has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Trott and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.
