The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Khan throws a right and a left that both miss.
Sundberg tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Khan was well out of range. Poor timing from Sundberg.
Khan darts in trying to clinch
and Sundberg counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Khan tries to close the distance and clinch but Sundberg swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
A slow jab from Khan misses its intended target.
Sundberg dodges the punch combination from Khan.
Khan walks into a stiff left hand from Sundberg.
A telegraphed right hand from Sundberg misses the target.

Sundberg feints a jab promting Khan to slip. Sundberg then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Khan slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.

Sundberg fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
Oh Khan is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

Khan's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Sundberg connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Khan scrambles back to his feet.

Jamshed Khan seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
No joy there for Sundberg, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Sundberg cracks Khan with a nasty uppercut that draws ooohs from the crowd and sends Khan tumbling backwards onto the mat. He tries to recover but Sundberg pounces and lands a hail of unanswered strikes that forces the referee to step in to end the fight! Khan is not happy but he gave the referee no choice!

Crawley comes into the arena with Barbarian Overlords - The Ambassador blaring out of the sound system. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wakabayashi throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Alsop's waist but Alsop gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Wakabayashi off to one side.
Alsop seemed to be looking to counter by closing the distance.
