The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Edwards with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Okafor fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Okafor throws a head kick but Edwards moves out of range.

Edwards closes the distance and clinches.

Edwards jumps guard and drags Okafor to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.

Okafor must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

Okafor is sitting in close to Edwards's body. Edwards has gone for a guillotine from the bottom. Oh damn, that looks pretty tight! Okafor is panicking - it looks like this one could be all over! Yes, Okafor is tapping! That was a very nice submission by Edwards.

Serget looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
Wilson is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Serget scores with a couple of nice shots.

Let's hope that Serget has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

Serget goes for a double leg but Wilson avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Wilson continues to drive forward.

Serget uses his free foot to push down on Wilson's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Wilson.

Oooooh!!! Zepp has knocked Ikeda down with a huge combo! Zepp steps away and waves a wobbly Ikeda back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!

It looks like Yuuga Ikeda has been cut.

Ikeda is still on wobbly legs! Can Zepp finish him?
This has been an exciting period of action!
Both fighters circling slowly here as the pace drops. Hopefully one of them does someth.. OOOHHHH!!!! Zepp throws an absolute beast of a head kick! Ikeda is done! He's out cold, twisted and contorted up against the cage! Wow!

Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

We've been informed that Rackham has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result.
Gago tries to score a power double leg takedown but Rackham sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Gago somewhat.
