That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Boxing Boss.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Ivo Reis!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Leeroy Jenkins!
The judges for this bout are Aafke Stam, Patrick Alders and Paul Aken.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jenkins plants his feet and lands a nice head kick!

It looks like Ivo Reis has been cut.
Jenkins shoots in for a takedown but Reis shows good takedown defense.
Jenkins tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Reis misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Jenkins throws a body kick that digs right into the meat.
Jenkins walks into a stiff left hand from Reis.
Reis rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Jenkins moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Jenkins walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Jenkins looks for the body kick but Reis saw that one coming.

Jenkins gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Jenkins looking for a sweep. Not yet Jenkins, not yet.
Jenkins trying to keep a closed guard but Reis is proving a slippery customer.
Jenkins is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Reis seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.

Jenkins looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.

Reis passes Jenkins's right leg, so he's now in half guard.

Reis is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.

Reis decides to stand up.

Jenkins instigates a clinch.
Reis stops a takedown attempt from Jenkins.
Jenkins changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Reis fights it off and pushes away nicely.
Ivo Reis has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Leeroy Jenkins.
Jenkins uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Reis.

A head kick from Jenkins lands but Reis takes it in his stride.
Reis throws a series of punches but Jenkins avoids them all with ease.
Reis fails with an attempt to clinch.
Jenkins thows a body shot but no joy.
Reis misses the body punch
and Jenkins counters with a flying knee. Nice.
Some wild striking there from Reis.
Jenkins throws a head kick but Reis moves out of range.
Jenkins wants to clinch.
Jenkins lands with a kick to the temple. Reis shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"
Reis throws a jab but it's blocked by Jenkins.
Reis is looking to clinch.
A solid leg kick lands there for Jenkins.
Reis tries to bum rush Jenkins with a series of wild strikes but Jenkins uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Good leg kick by Jenkins there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Jenkins throws a head kick that looked like it stung.
Reis is breathing heavily.
Reis takes a head kick and shrugs it off.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Jenkins throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Reis.

Reis is rocked!
A head kick by Jenkins - that's a beauty! Reis is out but he's somehow still standing... he's going... going... gone. Like a drunk walking down the middle of the road, the inevitable face plant follows and the delayed knockout arrives. Even Jenkins can't help but laugh at the bizarre end to this one!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:24 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Head Kick). Leeroy Jenkins!

These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Strike misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Napalm lands with a straight right. Strike didn't see that one coming.

Napalm feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Strike sprawling to the canvas! Strike rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Napalm finish him?!

Strike is rocked!
Napalm lands an uppercut, right on the button! Strike tumbles backwards into the cage, staring vacantly into space! He's got no idea where he is, who he is or what day it is... Poor guy.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:11 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Nikk Napalm!
