The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

and Karpecny counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Dipper is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.

Well Karpecny has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

That has opened up Makebono Bowen's cut even more.
Man lands a knee to the body.
Bowen looks winded!
Man lands an elbow that stopped Bowen in his tracks for a moment.

The cut above Makebono Bowen's eye is starting to cause him problems now.
Man creates a bit of space for himself and sneaks an elbow through Bowen's defenses.

Makebono Bowen's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Makebono Bowen's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!

Fred Collins seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

and Asashoryu counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Asashoryu, as that shot connected.
Whack! Asashoryu lands a heavy head kick that drops Collins. The ref tackles Asashoryu to stop the fight - a great save by the referee because Collins was done.

Sternik appears to be waiting to throw a counter punch to the body.

Johnson shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Sternik counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.

It looks like Barrett Johnson has been cut.
Johnson falls off balance throwing a combination
and Sternik counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Johnson takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
Sternik dips down and scores with a jab to the body.

Sternik feints a jab promting Johnson to slip. Sternik then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Johnson slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Sternik closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Johnson's guard.

Johnson seems to have improved his submission grappling technique since last time we saw him. Let's see if he can pull off a submission.
Sternik is in a good position here but he's just trying to control... And he's not even managing to do that successfully.

Sternik is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.

Johnson is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Sternik's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Sternik's back!

The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.

Riddick connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
Rose goes for a double leg but Riddick avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Riddick continues to drive forward.
Riddick swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made.
Rose takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
Rose has been working on his balance at Morbid Conditioning, Trans, Esc School $1000, so perhaps that has help him stuff some of the takedown attempts by Riddick.
Rose shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Riddick but Riddick pushes him off and we're back to square one.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rebo looks to score with a jab to the body but Ware is just out of range.

And an attempted straight right on the counter from Ware! But no joy.

A nice inside leg kick there by Rebo. That's going to slow Ware down.

and Rebo counters with a head kick that drops Ware to the mat! Ware scrambles across the canvas and gets back to his feet, still wobbly!

Ware is rocked!
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Rebo closes the distance and lands a brutal uppercut that knocks Ware out! We're looking at the replay now - he was out before he hit the floor!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:49 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Tore Rebo!
