The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Aurrelio shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Khabilov pinned against the cage. Khabilov gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Khabilov just misses with a punch to the body.

Aurrelio gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

Aurrelio is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Khabilov defends well.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Pablo Aurrelio.
Well Khabilov has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

Johnson shoots in looking for a takedown. Bocceli tries to sprawl out of it but Johnson keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Bocceli manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
