The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sanus throws a wild body kick that Masuka sees coming a mile off.
Masuka has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as Sanus is landing a low percentage of strikes.
Sanus tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
As Sanus backs off Masuka throws a huge counter combo but Sanus manages to avoid it all.
Masuka moves out of range of the body kick from Sanus.
Masuka is loading up here, looking for a big counter of his own.
Sanus pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Sanus misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Masuka tries to counter by closing the distance.
The fight stays on the outside here - Masuka looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
It looked like Sanus wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.
