The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Face lands a really nice looking cross but Gabriel seems unphased.
Gabriel throws a nice looking combination but Face bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Face throws out a counter right but Gabriel avoids it with no problem.
Gabriel cracks Face with a right hand to the side of the head.
Face scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.
Face throws a right and a left that Gabriel avoids nicely.
Gabriel misses with a double jab
and Face counters with a nice uppercut.

Face swings widly with a right hand
and Gabriel counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Gabriel scores with a one two! Face had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.

A nice side step and Face releases a counter shot to the body, but it doesn't find it's home.
Face throws a looping overhand right but Gabriel ducks down to avoid it.
It looked like Gabriel was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit.

As Marduk tries to get set, Jerky tries to push him back and clinch up but Marduk manages to avoid the attempt.

Marduk slaps away a takedown attempt from Jerky, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Marduk throws a lazy right hand but Jerky sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Jerky is trying to close the distance and clinch up, after that failed offence from Marduk.
Marduk lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

Jeez, Beef Jerky's cut is really nasty now. The referee must be thinking about getting that checked.
Jerky definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Jerky moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.

It looks like Craig Marduk has been cut.
Good standup being displayed there by Jerky as he connects with a hook.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Jerky ducks right into an uppercut from Marduk.
Marduk darts in and out, connecting with a jab.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Both fighters have cut men working on them during the interval.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.


Jerky drops his hands momentarily and Marduk takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.

Marduk lands a big right hand that sends Jerky crashing to the mat! Marduk stays standing though and waves Jerky back to his feet!

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Beef Jerky's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!

After the big win, Craig Marduk made sure to do all the important stuff like thanking his sponsors GREEN!160 and telling the interviewer how much he loves him.
Beef Jerky spoke after the fight, saying 'I of course would of liked to of won this fight...But I DONT see it as a loss. I see it as an incredible educational tool I can learn from and I appreciate every moment.'.
