The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Agua throws a lazy head kick

and Hicks counters with a nice double leg into side control. Agua won't be happy with that.
Agua is not content to let Hicks control the position.
Hicks lands a few punches from side control.
Agua managing to avoid any damage from the strikes thrown by Hicks.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Hicks throws a strike aimed at the side of Agua's head but Agua avoids it well.

Hicks is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Agua is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

Matt Couture really struggled to get his t-shirt on before his hand was raised. Making sure that Alcatraz Apparel logo gets some air time is pretty tricky when you're all sweaty.

Massa Alcantara lands a left and a right that send Kell crashing to the mat, dazed. Massa Alcantara thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

It looks like Justin Kell has been cut.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Kell will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Massa Alcantara's coach down at Fitness elite 24/7 was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Massa Alcantara's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.
Kell uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Massa Alcantara.

Aljad dives in and grabs Watson's left leg, looking for a takedown. Watson pushes down on Aljad's head and hops out.
Aljad shoots in looking for a takedown but Watson manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Aljad's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Aljad shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Watson sprawls well. Watson wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Aljad gets slowly back to his feet.
Watson fires out a quick counter leg kick but Aljad just manages to avoid it.

Adalsteinn uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Zero.

Zero shoots for a double leg takedown but Adalsteinn sprawls well. He's pushed Zero's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Adalsteinn is clearly trying to counter these attacks from Zero with a body shot.
Adalsteinn looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.

Adalsteinn ducks down into range and throws a picture perfect right hook that connects with Zero's jaw. Zero's eyes stare off into space as he falls to the mat, out cold! Adalsteinn does the decent thing and steps back, rather than landing any shots to his unconscious opponent.

It looks like Spike Reaper has been cut.
Pulse throws a sloppy head kick and Reaper moves out of range easily.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Nice takedown defense from Pulse. No joy for Reaper on that attempt.

Pulse cracks Reaper with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Reaper looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Pulse finish him?

Pulse seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym.
Pulse really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Reaper get stunned by a cross and takes another one on the button. Reaper stumbles backwards and tries to bounce back off the cage but Pulse runs in and jumps on him with a leaping lead hook that puts him out! Wow, that was highlight reel stuff! Awesome finish!
