Horrible takedown attempt by Otubro or perhaps it was just good defense by Materla, which made it look bad.

Materla decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
Otubro is trying to control but Materla manages to pass to mount!
Materla pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage.

Otubro is looking to improve his position but Materla isn't that keen on the idea.

He's trying desperately to grab hold of Materla around the waist but Materla pushes him off and unloads with more strikes, forcing the referee to jump in and save him! Materla is the winner by TKO! A very excited looking Christian Televing rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.
