Pendragon fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Nascimento manages to avoid it.
Nascimento throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.
Pendragon scores with a hook to the body. Nascimento takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
Nascimento is looking to slow Pendragon down with leg kicks.
Pendragon will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.
Nascimento throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.

Nascimento rushes Pendragon and presses him up against the ropes.

Pendragon blocks a couple of punches on the inside.
Pendragon has a couple of punches blocked by Nascimento.

Nascimento breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Nascimento throws a jab but it's blocked by Pendragon.
No joy there for Nascimento, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Loholt Pendragon seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Pendragon takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?
Nascimento throws a big shot that misses.
Nascimento misses with a body kick.
Pendragon connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Nascimento momentarily.
Cristiano Nascimento is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Nascimento clobbers Pendragon with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
Nascimento lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Pendragon circles away quickly and effectively.
Nascimento looks to land a left hand but Pendragon moved out of range nicely.
Nascimento keeps Pendragon at a distance using the push kick.

Nascimento throws a hook to the side of Pendragon's head but Pendragon sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Pendragon tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away.
Pendragon tries to move into range but Nascimento moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.
Pendragon throws a looping overhand right but Nascimento ducks down to avoid it.
Nascimento scores with a jab to the head.

Pendragon is rocked!
Nascimento finds Pendragon's off switch, with a big overhand right that connects perfectly to the side of the head! Pendragon flops back against the ropes, eyes gazing into the distance. Nascimento lands an unnecessary shot before the referee has time to step in and end the fight. Brutal stuff but I'm sure Pendragon will be OK.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:59 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Cristiano Nascimento!

A very excited looking Cristiano Nascimento rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.
