The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Bailey shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Chide manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.

Craven has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Pepper drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Craven manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Pepper has Craven in his guard.
Clive Craven is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.

Craven got a little sloppy there for a moment and Pepper has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Craven has managed to get both his arms back between Pepper's legs - danger averted.
