The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kowalchuck throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.

Kowalchuck drives through and clinches with Hodor against the cage.

I think Dawes might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to why can't we be friends. Both fighters look pumped up here. Let's hope this is a good fight!

Ikeda has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Dawes finds it's way round the side to connect with Ikeda's head.

It looks like Yuuga Ikeda has been cut.
Nice straight punches there by Dawes. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Dawes.
Dawes ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Ikeda moves away.
Dawes jabs at Ikeda's body.
Dawes lands a slapping body shot.
Ikeda looks winded!

Dawes sends Ikeda crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Dawes is motioning to the referee to let Ikeda up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!
