Fayden throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Szczerbiec throws a right hand that Fayden ducks under and follows up with a left that Fayden also avoids with ease.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Watson throws a hook to the side of Muntz's head but Muntz sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.

We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Watson has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.

We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
A solid leg kick lands there for Muntz.
Watson goes for a double leg but Muntz avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Muntz continues to drive forward.
Watson tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Muntz defends well and Watson ends up having to push Muntz into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.

That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Vinetto crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Narushima - the referee stops the clock and Vinetto gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Narushima. Vinetto manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.

Both these guys seem content to just stand up and trade with eachother but Vinetto might want to think about changing up his gameplan a bit because over the course of the fight, Narushima has got the better of the exchanges.
