The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Hood scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice.
Hood trying to control the action but Turpa is working from the bottom.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Hood has an Americana. Turpa didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Hood is delighted and gyrates in front of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Hood hooks up with any of them at the after show party.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Oki fails in his attempt to clinch.
Liukkonen changes levels for a counter takedown but doesn't follow through with his attempt.
Liukkonen has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as Oki is landing a low percentage of strikes.
Liukkonen drops his hands momentarily and Oki takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.

Oki closes the distance and pushes Liukkonen back into the cage.

Oki breaks from the clinch.

Liukkonen manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Oki on his heels. He'll look to pass Oki's guard now, I'm sure.
Oki not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.

Liukkonen thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.

A very excited looking Kylla Ei rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.
In defeat, Juha Ahokas stepped up to the mic, saying 'Sucker!'.
