Khan darts in and clinches Garner up against the cage.

Khan creates a bit of space for himself and sneaks an elbow through Garner's defenses.

It looks like Gilliam Garner has been cut.
Khan throws a nice elbow but it doesn't land.
Garner takes an elbow to the temple.
Khan lands an elbow just above Garner 's eye.

Khan creates a bit of space for himself and sneaks an elbow through Garner's defenses.
Khan lands an elbow inside that Garner shrugs off.
Khan working the clinch nicely. Garner is working for position but Khan cracks him with a big knee to the head! Garner crumples up against the cage and Khan lands two more shots before the ref can save Garner! This one is all over!

A nice leg kick lands there from Tony.
Lowdown on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Tony. Tony obviously looking to wear him down.
Crunch! Tony slams his shin into Lowdown's torso.
Tony stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Tony wants it to stay on the feet.
Lowdown fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Tony avoids it really well and circles away.

Lowdown shoots for a takedown but Tony saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.

Lowdown goes for a double leg but Tony avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Tony continues to drive forward.

Lowdown avoids a low kick by using good footwork.
Both fighters circling a little - Tony finishes the exchange with a kick to the body.

We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

Lowdown drops back, looking for a kneebar! Tony looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Tony looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Tony!

Tony stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Lowdown swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Lowdown is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Tony is aware though and is defending well.

Manny Lowdown overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
Tony wants to stand up but Lowdown is controlling the position.
Tony is using up a lot of energy trying to get back to his feet. Perhaps he should improve his position first.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Tony wants to control but Lowdown is keeping him busy.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

It looks like Bates might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.

Russo tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Bates manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.

and Russo counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.

A quick step to the side and Russo tries to counter with a shot to the body but it doesn't connect.

Russo scores with the left hand. Bates knows he should have avoided that one.

Bates is starting to get sloppy and is letting his hands down. Russo just took advantage and landed a stinging jab. Oh! Now a right hook, right on the button! Bates has gone limp and this one is over!

Pesic unloads with a big right hand that wobbles Blues! He's leaning against the cage trying to keep his feet but Pesic is unloading with more strikes now! Blues drops to his knees and the referee stops the fight for a TKO!
