The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hume scores with a slapping inside leg kick.
Assassin throws a leg kick that misses.

Hume has closed the distance and engaged Assassin in a clinch.
Still in the clinch, Assassin scores with a nice short uppercut.
Hume pushes Assassin back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head.
With the fighters clinched against the cage, Hume creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.
Assassin is trying to break the clinch but Hume is controlling him.

Assassin breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

Hume lands a big uppercut and Assassin crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Assassin looks OK. Hume waves Assassin back to his feet!

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Oh Assassin is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

Assassin appeared to be looking to counter that last move with a leg kick.
Assassin avoids a punch combination nicely.
