Uru has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as McLarnin is landing a low percentage of strikes.

Barksdale thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
Barksdale creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Tandelov sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike.

Barksdale has worked his way into a potential kimura here. Tandelov is trying to get out of the position but his squirming has just got him deeper into trouble. Barksdale yanks on the arm and Tandelov is forced to tap due to a very painful looking submission! Nice work by Barksdale.

Velvet loads up on a big right hand but Holohan slips the punch.
Holohan shoots for a takedown but Velvet saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Velvet throws a solid leg kick but Holohan takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Velvet.
Nice takedown defense from Velvet. No joy for Holohan on that attempt.
Velvet was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.

Velvet lands a right hook to the body.

Holohan is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Velvet's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not.

Kowalik shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.

That was a close round but I would say that Warren Peace will probably get the nod.
