We've been hearing good reports from Funkyama's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Mancine escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Rocker gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Rocker looking to sit in guard and control but Mancine gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Mancine stands and throws Rocker's legs to the side, diving into side control.

Mancine is looking to take a break and control but Rocker is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Rocker is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Mancine's leg. He's managed it. Nice work.

Rocker has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Mancine is working away from the top position though.
Mancine working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Rocker manages to get to full guard.

The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.

Rocker digs a good body shot into Mancine's ribs.
Mancine misses the shot to the body.
Rocker with the counter takedown but Mancine avoids it easily.

Well Rocker has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
