and Roman takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Roman throws a hard body shot but it just misses.

Malapitan connects with a nice looking jab.
Malapitan misses with a body shot.
Roman throws out a leg kick but Malapitan moves out of range and Roman only half commits.
Malapitan misses the shot to the body.
Roman appears to be looking for a counter punch to the body.
Roman lands with a cross.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Roman throws an overhand right that lands on Malapitan's shoulder, as Malapitan tries to avoid the shot.
Roman throws a hook to the side of Malapitan's head but Malapitan sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Malapitan takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.

No joy there for Roman, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Roman cracks Malapitan with a nasty uppercut that draws ooohs from the crowd and sends Malapitan tumbling backwards onto the mat. He tries to recover but Roman pounces and lands a hail of unanswered strikes that forces the referee to step in to end the fight! Malapitan is not happy but he gave the referee no choice!

Stone tries to clinch up but Mayweather Jr. pushes him back against the cage and lands another monster strike that crumples Stone to the mat! Stone covers up and Mayweather Jr. unloads with more strikes until the referee steps in to end the bout!

A relieved looking Lennox Mayweather Jr. thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
