The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Turner keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Turner fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Ship avoids it really well and circles away.
Ship shoots in and drives through. Turner sprawls well.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Ship .
And Turner tries to counter it with a takedown but Ship pushes his down on his head and steps out.

Ship shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Turner sprawls well. Turner wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Ship gets slowly back to his feet.

Ship throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Turner stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Ship stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Ship wants it to stay on the feet.
Ship drops down looking for a counter takedown but Turner sprawls and moves away.

Turner changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Ship tries to avoid it but Turner manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Ship to the ground. Ship escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Psycho Ship has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Bobby Turner.
Turner takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.

Turner bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.

Ship keeping moving, preventing Turner from controlling successfully.

A relieved looking Bobby Turner thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
Psycho Ship was interviewed post fight and said 'THE SHIP WILL BE BACK TO DOMINATE ALL '.

Davis misses with an uppercut.
Alvarez fires out a quick counter leg kick but Davis just manages to avoid it.
Jab, cross, leg kick. Nice combination by Davis!

It looks like Micheal Alvarez has been cut.
Alvarez has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Holding Cell in the buildup to the fight.
Miles Davis seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Davis looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
A slapping leg kick lands for Alvarez.
A solid leg kick lands there for Alvarez.
Davis jabs. That one connects to the head of his opponent.
Davis misses the jab.
Davis stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Alvarez.

Alvarez throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Davis takes a push kick to the midsection and stumbles backwards.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Davis crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Alvarez - the referee stops the clock and Davis gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Alvarez. Davis manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.

Alvarez lands a big head kick that sends Davis tumbling to the mat! Alvarez takes a step backwards and waves Davis back to his feet - he wants the finish!

and Alvarez makes the exchange count by landing a cracking kick to the body. Davis really felt that one!
