The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Thompson lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.

Thompson throws out a counter right but Van Driesen avoids it with no problem.

Kang moves in looking to clinch but Popkov pushes him off.

Sergei rushes Snow and presses him up against the cage.
Snow is pressed up against the cage. Sergei has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Snow down to the mat. Snow avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.

Snow slaps away a takedown attempt from Sergei, before circling back to the center of the mat.

Laukkanen pushes off an throws an elbow but Dawg leans to the side and avoids it. We're back to clinching against the cage.
Dawg changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Laukkanen fights it off and pushes away nicely.

Menethil tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away.
Lacoste seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym.
