The judges for this bout are Kenichi Hosakawa, Shigeki Sano and Yukihiro Shimada.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jones throws the kick towards the body but Villegas avoids it.
A little feinted left hand from Villegas on the counter but he doesn't commit to it.

Jones looking to score a takedown here. Villegas is defending well but Jones drives through and ends up in Villegas's guard.
Jones wants to get up but he can't break Villegas's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.

Villegas has his foot on Jones's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Jones works his way back into a safe position though.

Jones gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.

Jones throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Villegas tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Jones is in Villegas's guard.

Villegas is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Jones defends well.
Jones tries to stand but Villegas is controlling from the bottom.
Jones must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

Jones has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Villegas to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Jones is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Villegas pulls down on the head and he's put Jones to sleep! This one is all over!

Diaz kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Lamb of God - To The End. On his way into the cage it seems that Dylan Diaz has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Dylan Diaz seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Diaz throws a head kick that looked like it stung.
Left hook, right uppercut from Diaz.

Diaz drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Stephens can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Diaz controls the pace.

Diaz gets to his feet - Stephens follows without any prompting.

Diaz drives through and clinches with Stephens against the cage.
Stephens is looking to break free of the clinch but Diaz has double underhooks.

Diaz escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Stephens ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Diaz moves away.
Stephens misses with a few strikes there.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Diaz lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.

The fighters circle momentarily. Diaz darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.

Diaz drops Stephens with a straight right hand, right on the button! Diaz follows him down to the mat and pounds him out with hammerfists until the referee jumps in to end the fight!

Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Pouncey lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Lindi has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Lindi and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.
