Silfversberg closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Shula quickly recovers to half guard.

Christian blocks a jab.

Christian has Paul up against the cage in a clinch.
Christian lands a nice elbow from the clinch.

That has opened up Ethan Paul's cut even more.
Christian misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Paul.
Christian gets an overhook and lands an elbow to the side of the head.

Paul has hold of one of Christian's legs. Christian is fighting the takedown attempt but Paul gets the trip and lands the takedown into guard.

Paul drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Christian dives on top into guard.

Christian throws a strike but Paul rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.

Paul drops back, looking for a kneebar! Christian looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Christian looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Christian!
