Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Frank Dennis and Alan Glass.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Quinn connects with a body shot.
Danga de danga de dang - Quinn scores with a four punch combination!
Aztech fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Quinn throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.
Nice shot by Quinn.
Aztech shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Quinn as he jumps to the side.
Horrible takedown attempt by Aztech or perhaps it was just good defense by Quinn, which made it look bad.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for One Aztech. That's going to take a lot out of him.
A big left from Quinn misses.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Aztech gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.
Quinn clobbers Aztech with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.

Quinn throws a series of punches but Aztech moves out of range.
Aztech takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Quinn stuffs the takedown attempt from Aztech. Aztech gets slowly back to his feet.
Billy Quinn is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Quinn scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Quinn works over Aztech's head and body with a nice combination.

Aztech is rocked!
Quinn closes the distance and lands a vicious right hand that drops Aztech! Quinn dives in looking to finish! Aztech is still trying to defend himself but he's taking too many shots and the referee has no choice but to stop the fight!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Henks moves out of range of the strikes.
Macdonald works the jab nicely.
Macdonald scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent.
Henks dives in for a single leg takedown but Macdonald sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Macdonald accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Henks is looking for a triangle but Macdonald pushes his legs off easily.

Hammerfist, elbow! yells Macdonald's corner. There ya go! There ya go!
Macdonald lands a couple of elbows.
Henks has momentary wrist control but Macdonald slips an elbow through the middle.
Macdonald trying to control but Henks is working from the bottom.
Macdonald works over Henks with some ground and pound from guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Macdonald pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Henks is keeping the position for now.
Macdonald knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Henks on the ground.
Henks manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Macdonald manages to get himself to full guard.

Henks is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
Macdonald is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.

Macdonald has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Henks can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Henks drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Henks jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Henks tries to free his leg and advance position but Macdonald is retaining full guard.

Macdonald working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Henks doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Henks manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Macdonald throws his legs up looking to secure a triangle. Oh, that looks pretty tight, I gotta say! Henks escapes and throws Macdonald's legs to the side, diving into side control!
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Henks shoots in for a takedown but Macdonald shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.

Jay Macdonald seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Henks throws a nice looking combination but Macdonald bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

Macdonald uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.
