Zal with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Buro to score with a decent uppercut.

Zal throws a right hand that Buro ducks under and follows up with a left that Buro also avoids with ease.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Keller dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Gene looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.

It looks like Frank Gene has been cut.
Keller has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Dead North Bombers Club in the buildup to the fight.

Keller swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Gene.
Gene looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
A decent looking cross lands there for Gene.
Keller lands a really nice looking cross but Gene seems unphased.

Mugsy Keller has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Frank Gene.
Gene dives in for a single leg takedown but Keller sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
Keller bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Gene's head.

Keller digs a right hand underneath Gene's ribcage. Gene let out a lung full of air as it connected.

Keller pushes Gene back against the cage and unloads with a body punch.

Keller breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Keller is looking to slow Gene down with leg kicks.

Keller connects with a body shot.
Good shot there by Keller.
Gene takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket.
Gene pushing out the jab but it's not landing.

Keller moves into the clinch.
Keller lands with a right to the head.
Keller lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage.
Keller lands with a right to the head.
Keller lands with a short shot to the head.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
The two fighters are working to gain dominance in the clinch.

Gene takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
A solid leg kick lands there for Keller.

Keller lands a left and a right that send Gene crashing to the mat, dazed. Keller thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
Gene is still on wobbly legs! Can Keller finish him?
Keller pounces like a tiger and cracks Gene with a vicious hook! Gene is down but not out! Keller follows up with more strikes forcing the ref to jump in and stop it!
