The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bruni throws a right hand that misses
and Craig makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
Craig looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Bruni gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Craig.
Bruni lunges at Craig with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Craig's hand.
Bruni definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Bruni staying out of range there.
Craig throws a series of punches but Bruni moves out of range.
Craig misses with a looping right.
Craig misses the shot to the body.
A jab from Craig misses.
Bruni ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Craig moves away.

Bruni tries to bum rush Craig with a series of wild strikes but Craig uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

Craig drops his hands momentarily and Bruni takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

and Craig takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Bruni throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Bruni tries to close the distance and clinch but Craig swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Craig lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.
Craig ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Bruni is looking to clinch but Craig is avoiding it.
Bruni staying out of range there.
Craig throws out a loose jab but Bruni uses good head movement to avoid it.

It looks like Jimmie Craig has been cut.

Bruni takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.

Bruni is looking to wear down Craig with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment.
Craig throws a right and a left that both miss.
Bruni connects with a nice looking jab.
Craig throws a shot from downtown. Bruni moves away and avoids it.
Bruni tries to clinch up.

Bruni catches his opponent with a big hook that sends him to the canvas! Craig stumbles back to his feet but will the referee allow it to continue? Craig walks forwards and this one will be allowed to continue! Come on!

Craig is rocked!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Craig throws a nice looking combination but Bruni bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

Craig takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.

Bruni wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Craig throws a body shot but no joy.
A combination from Craig does no damage.
Bruni uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.
Craig displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Bruni throws out the jab.
Bruni wants to clinch.
Craig rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Bruni moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Bruni fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Craig manages to avoid it.

Bruni lands with a right, followed by a left to the temple and Craig goes down! The ref sends Bruni to a neutral corner so he can begin the count. 3,4,5,6 and Craig is back to his feet. He seems a little groggy but the referee thinks he's OK to continue, so we're back to the action!
Craig is still on wobbly legs! Can Bruni finish him?
Craig misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Bruni.
Craig leaves his chin hanging out and Bruni seizes the opportunity with an uppercut! Craig crumbles to the floor in a heap! The referee steps in and tends to the downed fighter! What a knockout!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:55 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Nicola Bruni!
A relieved looking Nicola Bruni thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
