The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The fight stays on the outside here - Pro looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Rulu blocks a head kick by Pro.
Pro swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Pro throws a leg kick but Rulu moved away.

Rulu gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Pro tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Rulu smiles and moves away.

Rulu clinches up with Pro and pushes him back against the ropes.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Pro pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.

Rulu moves into range and clinches up with Pro.

Rulu breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Pro swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

Pro misses with a looping left.

Rulu darts in and clinches Pro up against the ropes.

and Rulu counters with a shoot takedown. Pro fights it but they end up in guard.
Pro utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
Pro keeping moving, preventing Rulu from controlling successfully.
Rulu wants to pass the guard but Pro is keeping the position.
Rulu won't allow Pro to get back to his feet.

Rulu slips nicely into half guard.
Pro is trying to stand back up but Rulu is controlling him
Rulu is looking to take a break and control but Pro is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.

Rulu rushes Pro and pushes him back against the ropes in a clinch.
Pro wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Rulu has him pressed against the ropes.

Rulu escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
It really doesn't seem like the step up in weight is hurting Rulu here at all. He's more than holding his own against the bigger man.

Pro is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the ropes.

Rulu jumps guard and drags Pro to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.
Rulu manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Pro manages to get himself to full guard.

Rulu is controlling this nicely and is looking to make no mistakes. Pro is trying to wiggle out of this horrible position. Pro flips to his side and attempts to get a leg in for half guard. Rulu anticipates the leg and manages to get behind Pro and secures both hooks! This could be bad! Rulu slips an arm under Pro chin and tries to position for a rear naked choke. Rulu has worked the choke in now and it looks tight. Rulu is squeezing on Pro like an anaconda would it's prey. Pro fails to tap and has fallen unconscious! We've got ourselves a winner by way of a rear naked choke!

Antonio shoots in but no luck this time.
Antonio keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Antonio tries to close the distance and clinch up against the ropes but Boom paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Antonio throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Antonio misses with a jab, cross combination.

Boom tries to pull guard but Antonio holds him up against the ropes and eventually Boom drops back down to his feet.

Boom is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Antonio's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Antonio's back!
Antonio is in a world of trouble here. He's outmatched on the ground here and he'd better get Boom off his back sharpish unless he wants to be submitted.
Boom is throwing strikes from the back here. Oh that last one was to the back of the head. Boom gets a warning from the referee. He throws another strike to the back of the head straight away though and the referee has seen enough. He breaks up the two fighters and stands them back up. Boom gets a real talking to here and is lucky not to get a point deducted. Boom apologises and we restart here on the feet.

Boom feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Boom drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Antonio manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Boom has Antonio in his guard.

Boom working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Antonio doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Oh but Boom is tightening it up a little... Antonio has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight! Antonio reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! Antonio taps out! nice BJJ there by Boom!

Shaker has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Matsumoto is working away from the top position though.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Matsumoto connects with a nice short shot to Shaker's temple.

The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Kelly has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Kelly and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.
