Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jaqquard throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Jaqquard swings widly with a right hand
and Dogger counters with a nice low kick that buckles Jaqquard's knee momentarily.
Jaqquard misses with a right hand
and Dogger counters with a thumping low kick.
Dogger walks into a left hand.

and Dogger counters with a thumping low kick.
Jaqquard throws an overhand right that lands on Dogger's shoulder, as Dogger tries to avoid the shot.
Jaqquard misses with a hook. Dogger ducked under it nicely.
Dogger dodges the punch combination from Jaqquard.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Jaqquard seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Dogger for as long as he can get away with.

Jaqquard changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Dogger tries to avoid it but Jaqquard manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Dogger to the ground. Dogger escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
