The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Benn throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Power tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Power closes the distance and clinches up with Benn, looking for a takedown. Power pushes Benn against the cage but Benn circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Nice takedown defense from Benn. No joy for Power on that attempt.

Power content to sit in guard, stalling... Great. Oh but he could get punished here because Benn has locked up a guillotine! Benn's face is contorted as he sqeezes tight on the submission attempt - will he finish? Power is holding on here and Benn must be using up a lot of energy. Power has gone limp! He's out! He's out cold! Benn gets to his feet, tossing aside his stricken foe. Arms raised, he milks the applause from the crowd. Great submission!

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Doug Robertson.

Fredericks steps into range and unloads a brutal right left combo! Kane is out on his feet! Fredericks sets himself and nearly takes Kane's head off with a straight right, sending him crashing to the mat! Wow, that was nasty... but awesome! Wooo!
