Horrible takedown attempt by Oston or perhaps it was just good defense by Piechocki, which made it look bad.
Oston throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Piechocki counters with a head kick.
Piechocki displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Oston.

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Oston shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Piechocki's guard.

Ariel Piechocki is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.
Let's hope that Piechocki has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

Oston thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Piechocki has his hands on Oston's head, controlling the position.
Oston won't allow Piechocki to get back to his feet.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Oston takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
Oston closes the distance but Piechocki moves to the side
and Piechocki counters with a kick to the head that grazes his opponent. Oston is lucky that one didn't land flush.

Ariel Piechocki comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Piechocki has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

Simmons misses with a takedown attempt - Assuncao sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Assuncao paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
Simmons displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Assuncao throws out the jab.
Assuncao's coach down at Franklin D. Bluth Memorial Supergym was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Assuncao's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.

Assuncao stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Assuncao wants it to stay on the feet.

Simmons looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
