The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Takedownerson doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Ortiz misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Takedownerson is looking to clinch but Ortiz is avoiding it.
Horrible takedown attempt by Takedownerson or perhaps it was just good defense by Ortiz, which made it look bad.
Takedownerson keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Nice straight punches there by Ortiz. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Ortiz.
Takedownerson on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.

It's a brutal combination of punches from Ortiz! Takedownerson is backing up but he can't get away as Ortiz lands with one final shot to the jaw that drops Takedownerson and ends the fight. Great knockout.

Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Bondurant lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Anderson has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Anderson and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.
Anderson wants to clinch up but Bondurant keeps it at a distance.
Anderson changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Bondurant tries to avoid it but Anderson manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Bondurant to the ground. Bondurant escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Anderson is breathing heavily.
Bondurant slaps away a takedown attempt from Anderson, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Bondurant tries to bum rush Anderson with a series of wild strikes but Anderson uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Bondurant lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.
Bondurant throws an overhand right from the outside, which connects and sends Anderson stumbling backwards into the cage! Anderson bounces back off the cage towards Bondurant, who cracks him with a two punch combination that drops him to his knees! Bondurant lands two more shots before the referee has chance to intervene - what a finish! Bondurant celebrates with his corner as the crowd cheer loudly.

Jacobs has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Dillishaw after a bit of a struggle.

Jacobs's coach down at Werewolf's cave was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Jacobs's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.

Jacobs is trying desperately to land a takedown but Dillishaw is having absolutely none of it. This is turning into a bit of a nightmare for Jacobs.
Dillishaw lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Dillishaw.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lemon misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Lemon definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Lemon keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Hart throws a body punch but Lemon moves out of range.
Hart has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as Lemon is landing a low percentage of strikes.
Gaetan Hart seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Lemon defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Hart.
Hart misses with an uppercut.
Hart scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Lemon doesn't seem bothered though.
Hart avoids the head kick by Lemon.
Hart lands an overhand right.
Lemon is looking to land body kicks.
Hart throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Lemon throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Hart lands a nice hook to Lemon's body. Lemon takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.

Les Lemon has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Gaetan Hart.
Hart shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Lemon as he jumps to the side.
Hart misses with a lunging right hand
and Lemon counters with a head kick. That will keep Hart thinking before he tries any more sloppy attacks!
Lemon throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Les Lemon is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
No luck for Hart with that takedown attempt.

Hart throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.

Hart closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Hart looking to pass the half guard. Not this time.

Hart is looking for a kimura here.

Lemon is looking to escape.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Hart trying to control the action but Lemon is working from the bottom.
Lemon knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Hart on the ground.

Lemon is refusing to be controlled, as Hart sits in half guard.
Hart tries to pass to full mount but Lemon defends it.
Well, if Hart is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.

Hart has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can Lemon defend it? Hart steps over the head and cranks it - Lemon is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for Hart!

Koyabashi looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Koyabashi tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Koyabashi tries to clinch but Leonard is having none of it.
Koyabashi misses with a head kick.
Koyabashi misses with a low kick as Leonard jumps back.
Koyabashi closes the distance looking to clinch

and Leonard holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.

Leonard pulls guard.

Leonard is working an open guard so Koyabashi takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.

Leonard closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Koyabashi is trying to improve his position.
Koyabashi knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Leonard on the ground.

Leonard is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Koyabashi has escaped the position, nice work there.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Koyabashi is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard.
Koyabashi wants to get back to full guard.
Leonard looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Koyabashi with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
Leonard takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.

Leonard is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Koyabashi might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

Koyabashi is trying to stand up here but Leonard is controlling him well.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Warren Parker!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Jay Pierre!
The judges for this bout are Yves DeLean, Gregory Folan and Elvis Blanc.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Parker steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Pierre.
Pierre throws a body punch but Parker moves out of range.
Nice shot by Pierre.

It looks like Warren Parker has been cut.
Pierre will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Parker shoots in looking for a takedown but Pierre manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Parker's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Pierre cracks Parker's jaw with two stiff jabs then ducks low and throws a soul-severing right uppercut to the mouth!! Parker slumps to the ground with blood on his lips. The referee steps in before Pierre can do further damage! This one is done, son!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:28 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Jay Pierre!
Jay Pierre is the new welterweight champion!
Jay Pierre really struggled to get his t-shirt on before his hand was raised. Making sure that AnonymouS logo gets some air time is pretty tricky when you're all sweaty.
