Garcio has hold of Bathmanaban's arm here. He's working for an Americana. It looks like he might have it! Bathmanaban tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Garcio cranks the arm and Bathmanaban screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Bathmanaban, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Oston enables Magnus to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Oston manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.

Dino throws his legs up looking to secure a triangle. Oh, that looks pretty tight, I gotta say! Cobrero escapes and throws Dino's legs to the side, diving into side control!

Dino is positioning himself to get back to half guard.
Cobrero controls the position from side control.
Cobrero works to advance to full mount. Dino defends for a few seconds but eventually he succumbs.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Dino is squirming around, avoiding Cobrero's attempts to control the action.

Cobrero stands up from the dominant position. He obviously fancies his chances standing.
Dino fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Cobrero is out of range.
Cobrero jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Cobrero tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.

Dino throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Cobrero tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Dino is in Cobrero's guard.

The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Dino wants to get up but he can't break Cobrero's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Cobrero tries to land a sweep but no joy.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Caio Cobrero dominated that round.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.



Cobrero closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.

Dino gives up the full mount - oops, sloppy defensive grappling there!

Cobrero is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position.

Dino really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Cobrero. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Cobrero is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen.

Dino throws some strikes from the bottom but Cobrero isn't bothered - he's working on a kimura... it looks tight... it is! Dino is tapping and screaming like a little girl! Ouch, that looks painful! Good win for Cobrero!
