The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Schuabi changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Barcelona tries to avoid it but Schuabi manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Barcelona to the ground. Barcelona escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Barcelona closes the distance and pushes Schuabi back into the ropes.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Silva throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Carvalho.
Carvalho throws a jab when Silva was well out of range.
A telegraphed right hand from Carvalho misses the target.

Silva shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.
Carvalho tries to kick Silva off but Silva keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.
Carvalho felt the need to train up his defensive grappling in the buildup to the fight. Presumably he was expecting to be in a difficult position like this, so let's see if he can get out of it.
Carvalho is using up a lot of energy trying to get back to his feet. Perhaps he should improve his position first.

Silva looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Carvalho can do anything to dispel that myth.

Silva is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Carvalho is just riding it out for now. Silva eventually gives up the hold.

Silva seems like he's working for an arm triangle here. He's freed his trapped foot and he's rotating nicely. Carvalho is in big trouble! He's tapping out! This one is aaaaaaaaaaaall over!

Heisman has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as Danzig is landing a low percentage of strikes.

and Heisman counters with a crisp one two that drops Danzig! Heisman thinks about following him to the mat for a moment but instead steps back and waves Danzig to his feet! Danzig is in big trouble!

Heisman fakes the leg kick and throws a superman punch. It's knocked Danzig out cold! Brutal finish!

Adabisi Jumps to his feet and flashes his guns to the crowd. Oh yeah, baby! How'd you like them apples?!
