The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Leo's coach down at Warrior MMA and Fitness was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Leo's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

I was talking to Granlund's coach per-fight and he was telling me that they'd been working on the clinch in the runup to this fight.

Granlund feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Leo sprawling to the canvas! Leo rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Granlund finish him?!

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Granlund fakes the body blow, causing Leo to drop his hands! Left hook to the temple! Leo goes stiff, and falls face first into the mat. Goodnight!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Blomsten walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Man checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.

Blomsten is moving around in side control but his primary objective seems to be to maintain the position.

Blomsten goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Man has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Blomsten but great work by Man.

Man felt the need to train up his defensive grappling in the buildup to the fight. Presumably he was expecting to be in a difficult position like this, so let's see if he can get out of it.

Blomsten is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.

Stoic closes the distance and clinches up with Do, looking for a takedown. Stoic pushes Do against the cage but Do circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Stoic fails miserably with a takedown attempt.

Stoic wants to free his trapped foot but Do is holding on for dear life with his legs.
Do keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound.
Stoic trying to control from half guard but Do is working away.
Do has been taking part in the yoga sessions down at Krusher Gym. Presumably he's going to look for a slick submission... Or maybe he's looking to avoid one.
Stoic thows a huge punch but Do dodges it nicely.
