The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Russell misses with a wild body shot.
Block scores with a one two! Russell had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.

It looks like Psycho Russell has been cut.
Block fails with the takedown.
Block avoids a punch combination nicely.
Block pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Block takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
Russell misses with a series of wild punches.
Russell keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Russell lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.

Russell lands a left and a right that send Block crashing to the mat, dazed. Russell thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

Russell moves in close and cracks Block with a massive right hand! Block , frozen momentarily in time, tumbles to the canvas, already out cold! A brutal knockout by Russell!

Monchique shoots in for a double leg but Amadi sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Monchique looks to throw the jab but Amadi is out of range.
Amadi throws a body punch but Monchique moves out of range.
Amadi lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
Monchique throws an off balance right hand
and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick.

Amadi lands a big head kick that sends Monchique tumbling to the mat! Amadi takes a step backwards and waves Monchique back to his feet - he wants the finish!

It looks like Ricardo Monchique has been cut.
Monchique tries to clinch but Amadi is having none of it.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Amadi pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Amadi avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Monchique sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs.
Amadi blocks a head kick by Monchique.
A punch combination from Monchique misses.
Monchique is looking to land body kicks.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Monchique.
Amadi lands a nice leg kick that just misses Monchique's sensitive parts.

Siegward gets caught napping as Pellegrini dives in and scores a takedown. Siegward manages to retain guard.
Pellegrini passes Siegward's right leg, so he's now in half guard.

It looks like Bartek Gor has been cut.
Edgar fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.

Gor shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Edgar looking to hit a scissor sweep but Gor is one step ahead there.
Edgar can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Gor controls the pace.

Gor thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.

Olujimi fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Silva looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.

and Olujimi counters with a crisp one two that drops Silva! Olujimi thinks about following him to the mat for a moment but instead steps back and waves Silva to his feet! Silva is in big trouble!
