The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A jab from Hupperts misses.
Ioanide dives in for a single leg takedown but Hupperts sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.

Hupperts gets a trip takedown into half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Hupperts is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Ioanide is just riding it out for now. Hupperts eventually gives up the hold.
Hupperts seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Ioanide does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
Ioanide is trying to control but Hupperts passes into side control!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hendry misses with the combination.
Hendry lands a slapping body shot.
Suchoj tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.

Hendry throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Suchoj was covering up waiting for the punch and Hendry finishes the takedown easily into guard.

Vaughan lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
Vaughan throws out a loose jab but Wawrzeniuk uses good head movement to avoid it.
Vaughan takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.
Wawrzeniuk has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Vaughan throws a hook to the side of Wawrzeniuk's head but Wawrzeniuk sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Vaughan misses with a wild body shot.
Shane Vaughan seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Vaughan throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Vaughan throws a body punch but Wawrzeniuk moves out of range.
Vaughan fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Wawrzeniuk on the side of the head.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Vaughan cracks Wawrzeniuk on the jaw with a powerful right hand and Wawrzeniuk falls backwards against the cage. Vaughan follows up with more strikes that drop Wawrzeniuk to his knees. Vaughan keeps the pressure on and the referee jumps in to save Wawrzeniuk! This one is all over!

Germano throws a right and a left that Tanba avoids nicely.
Tanba is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Germano.
Nice jab there from Germano.
Tanba throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Germano lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Tanba swings and misses with a hook to the body.

Tanba manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Germano on his heels. He'll look to pass Germano's guard now, I'm sure.

Tanba throws a strike but Germano rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Tanba wants to sweep but no luck.

Germano drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Tanba manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Germano has Tanba in his guard.
Tanba distracts Germano with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.

Germano has thrown up a leg looking for a triangle. Tanba doesn't defend quickly enough and Germano has managed to lock this one up! Can Tanba escape?! NO! He's tapping out! Damn, that was a quick submission - congrats to Germano on a fantastic submission victory.

Bayliss must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

Well Bayliss has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
