The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Zakoyan looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.

Erasmus sends Zakoyan crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Erasmus is motioning to the referee to let Zakoyan up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!

Zakoyan throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Erasmus was covering up waiting for the punch and Zakoyan finishes the takedown easily into guard.

Erasmus drops Zakoyan with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Zakoyan looks back up at him and smiles so Erasmus waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.

Erasmus is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot.

Both fighters step back and shake their arms out. Erasmus engages and cracks Zakoyan with a massive lead left hook - Zakoyan tumbles to the floor, out cold! What a shot! Erasmus is delighted - all that hard work in training paid off!

Drax comes to the cage accompanied by Don't Fear The Reaper. Rose comes into a darkened arena with his song building. You Could Be Mine kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.
