Socha connects with a leg kick. Milat looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.
Milat turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.

We've been informed that Socha has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Jacobs stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Grimm swivels though and keeps the full guard.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Russell Jacobs hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.

Jacobs has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.

and Grimm makes the exchange count by landing a cracking kick to the body. Jacobs really felt that one!

Grimm lunges in with a left hook that violently twists Jacobs head around and knocks him out cold! Grimm hops onto the cage and yells out at the top of his lungs - Yeeeeeeeeaaaaaaaaah! They're showing the replay on the big screens now; that was nasty! I hope one of the photographers got a good shot of it.
