The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gilas misses with a double jab.
Gilas jabs. That one connects to the head of his opponent.
Gilas throws an overhand right that lands on Widow's shoulder, as Widow tries to avoid the shot.
Widow moves forwards but Gilas connects with a nice, crisp jab.

Gilas shoots in and bounces Widow off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.
Widow trying to punch from his back but it's not doing any damage.
Gilas is in close to Widow's body, working some short punches and elbows.

Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Eric Krazman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tiny Mcfacepunch (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Mcfacepunch has chosen Ooh La La as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Mcfacepunch stands up over Krazman, holding on to his feet. Mcfacepunch throws the legs to one side and dives in with a huge shot that lands flush on the chin! Krazman is out cold! Mcfacepunch lands a couple more shots and the ref tackles him out of the way! What a brutal finish!

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Souch is trying to control the action in half guard but Mast is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.
Still in half guard, Souch seems content to control.
Souch is looking to take a break and control but Mast is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Souch is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Mast is just riding it out for now. Souch eventually gives up the hold.

Kim changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Pirate looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Pirate regains half guard there - taking advantage of Kim's attempt to lay and pray for a moment.
Kim is trying to advance to mount but he's lost his balance and Pirate reverses the position - he's now on top in Kim's guard.
Pirate must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Winnfield comes to the cage accompanied by Say What Again!!. James Rysdan struggled to make weight for this fight. Bob tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Azeredo manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
The fight stays on the outside here - Bob looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Bob tries to move into range but Azeredo moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.

The step up in weight doesn't seem to be a problem for Azeredo. He's performing admirably here against the bigger man.

It looks like Jim Bob has been cut.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Bob gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.
Azeredo lands with a shot to the body.
Azeredo throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Bob stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
We've been told by Bob's head coaches at Body Pain_12elite_599$+VM that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
Bob doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Antonio Azeredo seems to be getting the better of the standup.
Azeredo lands with a big left! Bob is wobbled badly! Azeredo comes in with a flurry of punches and drops Bob to the floor. The ref jumps in to save him from unneccessary punishment.
