The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fadden looks to land a combination but Layser avoids it well.
Fadden connects with a right hand. Layser shakes it off.
Fadden lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Layser at a distance.
Layser avoids a punch combination nicely.
Fadden misses with a double jab.
Fadden blocks a head kick by Layser.
Layser throws a lazy right hand but Fadden sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Fadden leaves Layser with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Layser throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Layser has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Layser there as he acknowledges the shot.
Layser shoots in for a takedown but Fadden shows good takedown defense.
Layser seems to be squinting his left eye. Perhaps he got a poke in that previous exchange. Fadden shows no mercy and swarms him with a barage of strikes! Layser is backing up but Fadden catches him with a final right hook that drops him! Layser covers up and the referee steps in to end the fight! Fadden Jumps to his feet and flashes his guns to the crowd. Oh yeah, baby! How'd you like them apples?!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:50 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). John Fadden!
John Fadden bigged himself up after the win. The crowd seemed to love it.
