E shoots for a double leg takedown but Rodriguez sprawls well. He's pushed E's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

That was a close second round but I would say that John Smith will probably get the nod.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. This is the final round!


Good shot there by Sosa.
Sosa tries to clinch but Smith is having none of it.
Smith circles away from the clinch attempt.
Smith fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Smith takes a swing at Sosa's ribcage but misses.
Sosa fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
Smith throws a left and a right that both miss
and Smith takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Smith connects with a single shot there.
A looping hook to the body misses from Smith. Sosa does a little dance to reset his feet.
Sosa's corner calls for a 1-2. Sosa obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.
Smith walks into a left hand.
Sosa wants to clinch up but Smith keeps it at a distance.
Smith scores with a punch to the head.
Smith throws a big shot that misses.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Smith has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Smith there as he acknowledges the shot.
Smith moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
A big left from Smith misses.
Sosa throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Smith keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Sosa.
Smith gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Smith paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
Sosa throws a hook but Smith blocks it.
Sosa lands a right hook to the body.
Sosa avoids a lazy jab quite easily.

Sosa closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Sosa is trying to advance to mount but he's lost his balance and Smith reverses the position - he's now on top in Sosa's guard.
Sosa manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Sosa wants to take his opponent's back but Smith doesn't allow it.
Smith's corner are shouting for him to stand up but that's bad cornering - how is he meant to stand up when he's mounted? He should be looking to improve his position on the ground before trying to stand back up.
Sosa trying to control but he's not successful this time.

Sosa working to secure an arm triangle but it's not happening for him just yet.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Smith prevents Sosa from taking his back.

Sosa is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Smith can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.
Sosa takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.
Smith really wants to buck Sosa off and get back to his feet.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Sosa tries to control but Smith wriggling away.

Sosa wants to finish this one by submission but Smith is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Sosa.
Sosa can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Smith is looking to escape.
Sosa takes Smith's back. Could be looking for a rear naked choke here - either way, Smith is in trouble.
